Belated Happy July 7th and 9th to everybody!

Four years ago, a little movie called Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl came to theatres on July 9th. One year ago on July 7th, it's sequel Dead Man's Chest opened. It's a shame they moved At World's End to the month of May; I rather liked declaring July the month of pirates.

Another shame - the fantastic, old, pink building called The Palace is no longer opened. That was a shocker. It's been around for 16 years - as long as I can remember! - and now it's closed. Not only is another part of my childhood gone, but my hope for seeing AWE once it gets bumped from the Warren. I'll have to drag my ass all the way across town to the other Palace, and that's a lot of gas and I don't even really know where the hell it is! Alas, there's tiny hope. Harry Potter (stupid wizard! You go to hell! You go to hell and you die!) did not kick it out today. AWE is still hanging in with only one showing a day. If I go tonight, Friday, and then Sunday-Thursday next week, I can get all my showtimes in for the record. But I don't know if I can.....I'm sitting at #9 right now....17 is rather ambitious.....
