More Snubs
No nominations whatsoever for "Public Enemies" on the Oscar ballot.
What. The. Fuck.
I remember when commercials were running for it back in July, saying how critics said "Johnny Depp gives an Oscar-worthy performance" and stuff like that, yet there's nothing to show for it. That movie deserves something, god damn it. It seems to have just disappeared from everyone's minds. And for having Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in it - that's ridiculous. Not to mention Marion Cotillard (who's also absent from a nomination for "Nine" unlike the Globes), former Oscar winner.
Throw me a frickin' bone, here. Screw your computer-dominated movies - ahem, "Avatar" - and go fuck yourselves. Give me gangsters and guns and a solid sentimental love thread.
