Is what you're studying something that you really want to be doing, or just something you feel like you have to do? Because if you're feeling like this then maybe you need to change your course to something you're really passionate about?

I honestly don't think it is. That's the problem. :/ But I don't know what I'd change to. I mean, I've already gotten so deep into taking the courses required for the specific degree and I don't want to start all over on a different one. I really like computers and would like to do something with them, but there aren't really any courses available that I saw that would be helpful.

I'm passionate about music, but I'm not so sure what I'd want to do with it. I'm in the education program as of now because I don't want to be a performance major. But I don't really want to be a teacher. Wtf? lol

Teaching is definitely not something you should do if you're not passionate about it. I mean, remember being in high school? You could tell the teachers who were just in it to cash their paychecks, and their classes always sucked. You don't want to be that kind of teacher. It's not good for the kids, and it's not good for you.

Maybe rather than focussing on what course you want to do, you should focus on what career you want to do. You might be able to get into an IT/Computers job that offers its own training. You don't want to do a course just for the sake of doing a course. Trust me, I made that mistake and now I'm right where I would be if I'd just dropped out of school.

True. I just don't know what to do. Or how to go about it. Right now, I'm not even wanting to go back for second semester. Before then, I guess maybe check into an IT school? I don't know. :/

Maybe take a break and don't enroll in any class at all for a while. Just take some time out for yourself to really think about what it is you want to do with your life. You don't need to rush into anything right now, you've got your whole life ahead of you.

That sounds really good, but I sort of mentioned all this to my mom the other day, and she isn't going for me not getting a degree in Music Ed. Or going to a technical school. I don't know what to do. I don't want to be stuck in this for another semester, really...
