today is the day that doing the right thing doesnt matter anymore
so today at my work these kids came in and wanted a table for four. so we sat them in cjs section after about a half an hour and they wanted chris morris. cj said that if they wanted him then they would have to sit in his section. so they were waiting by the host stand and i was asking why it was such a big deal???? and they were like "because chris morris is OUR server. we want HIM." so i was like oooooooook whatever. and then they were all drinking beers and margiritas. these kids looked about high school age. and after awhile i saw adam come up and take their drinks and throw them away. and we were like...shit man chirs is in trouble.
and we were all pissed cause this wasnt the first time. he serves underage people all the time and its fucking bullshit. so finally chris sat them at this small little two person table and they had two chairs sticking out of it...it was so retarded and we kept laughing at the dumbasses. then we noticed that he had brought them another round of beers. i was so pissed. i was like...someone has to tell mark (our manager) this is bullshit who the fuck do they think they are?! so when mark came up to the host stand i said "mark." (and i felt sick and shakey for even confronting him but no one would fucking do anything about it.) and he said "what?? : )" and i said...nevermind and he was like "no what???" so i said that i needed to talk to him in the back right away.
so we went in the back and i was like look i dont want to get anyone in trouble but chirs just took those high school kids another round of drinks. and he said are you sure they are all underage and i was sure because jesselyn one of the hosts that is my age went to school with them. and i said that we should kick them out or something i mean this is insane. and he said that he would take care of it.
but he didnt do fucking anything about it. he just went up to chris and chirs said that they were 21 and he let it be. i dont get it. he let them finish their drinks and stay in the restruant.
later we were out smoking and a few of the guys were like i cant believe you did that why dont you mind your own business. and they were saying that it was stupid to get involved. but my sister and some of the other servers were saying that it was ok.
after awhile i got off and i had carly come pick me up and when i was waiting for her outside they were coming out of the restraunt and it took every once of my self control not to say "you guys are fucking lucky that i didnt call the police. the next time you come in this restruant and im working i wont seat you"
i just dont understand what kind of world we are living in where doing the right thing and putting your fucking neck out on the line gets you absolutly nowhere...it just makes me so tired and furstrated.
