A message to Muh-Night's new film
Dear The Last Airbender,
I have enjoyed watching your trailers and looking at your pictures, and must say that you are looking like a fine film. However, I have been led down this path before and would just like to warn you: If you are fucking with me, if this is going to be a big cocktease like so many adaptations have been before, I WILL be PISSED! It is bad enough when it happens to things I just like, things I think are cool or interesting. When it happens to something that I flat out LOVE, something that has on multiple occasions made tears roll down my cheeks and on at least a few occasions elicted actual sobs from me, it will be such an enormous betrayal that I will be beyond consolation. That said, however, if the finished product is anywhere near the quality of the limited promotional shots and videos I have seen, then we will be just fine, and I look forward to two more films in the pipeline.
