Kirk saves Amanda
I've been looking for a fic where Kirk goes down to vulcan after/instead of Spock and saves Amanda. After he beams back with Amanda I think Kirk and Spock get in a bit of an argument about why he did it. If I remember correctly Jim did it because he was raised by Amanda and Sarek on Vulcan so views Amanda as a mother figure. I can't remember if it was Kirk/Spock or if it was gen with Spock and Kirk having a brother like relationship. I've looked through all the raised on vulcan posts and all of the ones tagged with Amanda but I just can't seem to find it so any help would be much appreciated!
