Driving me crazyyy (FOUND!!!!!)
Hiii I literally made an account to post here lol. I used to have a bunch of fics bookmarked on my phone but they all got deleted so I’m trying to rebuild it.
There’s this aos Spock/Kirk fic that I really loved… actually there’s two but I think I can find the other one (it’s one where Spock has a tattoo from Kohlinar)
(Update. Not having any luck with this one either lol… any time I try to look up tattoo it’s all Kirk sigh)
This one I’m thinking of is on AO3 and it’s set in academy days. They may or may not be roommates but I think they are. Kirk takes a pod and goes down to a planet and drags Spock along, I can’t recall exactly why he wanted to go to the planet so bad. They get stranded and at some point they find this race of beetle-like aliens who are being escorted to prison cells by a different race.
Then they get captured of course lol. I remember a specific scene where they’re trying to communicate with the bug aliens but the translator doesn’t understand them.
Kirk and Spock start out as hating each other like in the original 2009 film. Please I beg you.. I loved this fic so much and I don’t even know how to begin trying to search it up.

Turns out they WERE both explicit?? I didn’t remember anything like that but it might be due to violence 😭 but God I’m so happy.
