Looking for this fic where Kirk was partially raised by Vulcans, has a familial bond with them
Hi there, I've been looking everywhere for this fic, which I read years ago. I think it was the AOS universe, and I believe it was on AO3. I also think it was K/S, but it could have also been gen.
In the fic, Kirk was more or less adopted by a Vulcan family, I think in the aftermath of Tarsus IV. He became close with them, and they established some kind of familial psychic bond. Then Kirk was forcibly removed from their custody and sent back to earth for legal reasons. Kirk and the family were unable to contact each other. Years later, when Kirk is the captain and stuff, somehow he finds them again. The family never stopped looking for him and grieved his absence.
