Are there any fics out there where...
1. Spock knows he is bonded to Kirk but stays with Uhura anyway? I read have read a few where he didn't know or suppressed them deeply, but then figured it out for one reason or another. I think one was by Kylie.
2. Also, any fic where Kirk is the one betrayed/hurt by Spock's actions, together or not. I am kinda tired of him always being the one in the wrong.
3. I am also kinda tired of Kirk being portrayed as an idiot or oblivious. He is supposedly a genius, and he did make Captain. I realize that there are issues from his past, but I would think he would be smart enough to work through those somehow, knowing that to do so would make him stronger, not weaker. Maybe he only worked through them after he joined the Academy. So any fic where he is smart/aware.
4. In fact, one particular one I am looking for, I believe it is TOS, is one where he is waiting for Spock to catch up to him emotionally, and come to him. I believe he had been flirting, and leaving hints, but he is the Captain, and can't come right out and say anything.
5. I am also looking for a story where Kirk is on New Vulcan in the Council chambers, which for some reason has an open wall that is basically a cliff, and he almost walks off of it in a daze. Something is wrong with him, but I can't remember what.
I have just finished reading through AO3, FF.net and KS Archives, but I will admit I might have missed something. I am not great at finding livejournals or other non-main story sites.
