So lost a fic. Jim is an omega but hides it, with bones help, with pheremones that make him smell like an alpha. The academy doesn't allow omegas on the command track. The federation looks down on omegas but spock and others work causing people to change their opinion. Pike was also an omega but he hid it. Also, without jim know, Pike also paid for the heat suppressants jim had to take.
