Three lost stories (sorry, long!)
Hello everyone & thank you for any help you can give.
I'm new to Star Trek fanfic. I was sure I'd bookmarked three wonderful stories, but I must have screwed up somehow. I feel like an idiot. Here are plot descriptions...
(1) Spock Prime comms with young Spock and Kirk to explain to them his imminent death. It's unlikely that they will arrive in time to see him before he dies. There's a scene where old Kirk leaves the Nexus to find out who is seeking the universe for him. The story ends with young Spock finding out that two stars---one yellow and one blue---have suddenly appeared & are circling the site of destroyed Vulcan. Spock and Kirk have found one another beyond death.
(2) A fully or partially epistolary story that includes a communication from a furious Kirk to Sarek, taking Sarek to task for failing the son whom he brought into existence only to reject him when he didn't follow in Sarek's path. The subject line is approximately: Re: Your Son (Yes, he is YOUR son!)
(3) Retired Kirk decides to take part in what he thinks is just a physical challenge on Vulcan. Both Spock and Sarek drop the ball on explaining to Kirk that it involves Kirk being adopted into the House of Sarek; that Spock, as Kirk's bondmate, must take part in the challenge; that completion of the challenge involves using their telepathic mating bond. Kirk is partnered with a young Vulcan woman who will guide him, an inexperienced outworlder, through the challenge.
