Two Spock-centric requests
1. Fics where Spock seeks closer relationships/contact/affection/etc. from those around him (more personal interactions, touch, etc.) but either intentionally or out of respect for his culture, those around him give him a wide berth, exclude him, something like that. I've read (and loved) stories where Spock is excluded (or bullied by) from the general crew because of his Vulcan nature, but, despite that, he does want to be included. Bonus for insecure Spock finding his place in the end.
2. Stories where Spock and Jim bond - accidentally or intentionally - but Jim tries to close off or restrict his end of the bond in some way. I've seen a few where Spock does this, so now I'm really interested in reading that go the other way. Bonus points for angst, misunderstandings, pining, and all that good stuff.
