Looking for specific K/S kid fics
Hiya.
I have a feeling my memory is combining multiple fics together, but I'll try my best to describe each part that I remember. I'm looking for a fic where Jim and Spock meet as kids at a starfleet function or something and Spock overhears Jim talking to some adult about his age and he says "I'm 7 and a quarter" and the lady says "Wow you're almost 8" and Jim says "No I'm 7 and a quarter. That's not the same thing at all."
I also remember that Amanda and Sarek end up adopting Jim because Jim is being neglected/abused and they don't want the boys to be separated, but I'm not sure if that's from the same fic. When I recall that story I feel like Jim and Spock also met at a Starfleet function, but Jim was much younger than 7.
I ALSO remember that once Jim and Spock were already bonded and everything and Spock was attending Starfleet as a cadet he went on some research class trip on a boat with Uhura, and she purposefully fell off the boat and pulled him with her to try to force him to save her.
Sorry, I know these are just a bunch of random snippets from the stories, and for all I know they're three separate stories that my memory has just mushed into one fic. Any and all help is appreciated!
