Found! Lost Fic: Jim runs away to Canada?
Hey there!
I remember a fic where Jim's feelings about Spock get out somehow (can't remember how) and he runs away to Canada in embarassment.
If I remember right, he is travelling through the coldest states/provinces/countries because Spock is Vulcan and would be uncomfortable there.
Fic ends with Spock bursting into a coffee shop (in Montreal?) and being pissy because Jim ran away. Spock demands that Jim takes him to his hotel room, crank up the thermostat and bang/cuddle/whatever.
I specifically remember Spock had grown stubble or a beard in this. I don't remember the rating, but I don't think it was NC17.
