Engraved in a Stone

Our hiking trip to Forest River Falls was a rejuvinating exprerience. The path was very rocky and required physical, strenous, work. But It was a relesase from the monotonous tone life had been producing as of late. The trail led to the base of the falls, which led to a swinging bridge to cross it. Being the little devil that I am I teased my brother and shook it violently. He had such a cow!

I traversed a pile of large, earthen rocks to come within 30 feet of the pounding water that fell from 40 feet over head. Taking a sharpened rock I etched J.R. & R.F. into a decently good sized, flatned boulder. I drew a heartagram in the corner to make it official. How i wish we had a digital camera with us! During the Summer I will take Josh back to the same spot and show him. It's so traditional that I should be ashamed of myself
