Hurray for livejournal and their "writers block" thingy. Today it says, "Do you think teenagers get in more car accidents than any other group?" --or something to that effect--
Probably they do because they are beginning drivers. Except maybe that makes them more cautious... i dunno but for me, personally, i got in more accidents when I was a teenager. All fender-benders. Most of my accidents involved mailboxes rather than other cars. :P
Speaking of driving...
I got pulled over twice during the trip to Gulf Shores: once on the way there and once on the way back. The first one I was doing about 80 or so in a 65 zone, but so was everyone else! So the cop snuck up behind the car behind me and turned on his lights. So i got over. Then the car behind me got over and the cop pulled up next to me and POINTED AT ME! what do you??? sO i slammed on the brakes and pulled over on a busy interstate. And sat there and waited... then i gave up and pulled back out.
On the way back--I got caught in a speed trap. The speed limit was 55 but I was about 100 yds from the divided hwy where it changes to 65 and I was going 67. He pulled me over and took my license. After about 50 years, he came back and told me this: "Your record is clean, so lets keep it that way." and he gave me a warning.
I was super relieved.
I need a new thought to write about because my 15 minutes isn't up.
How about CPR. I'm getting certified tomorrow and I probably won't make it to the class that i'm writing this for on time. Or at all, considering the CPR class ends at 8pm and the writing class starts at 7pm. But I never missed a single class last semester, so it shouldnt be a big deal for me to miss classes this time hopefully. I could always come late. So CPR. I took it in high school and got certified. And I never picked up my certification card in the office. I also got certified online because I needed it to work at Kanakuk (a christian athletics camp in MO) several summers ago. I was a counselor and i lived in a teepee for a month and a half. Two summers in a row. It was ridiculous and amazing at the same time. So now I need CPR again and it isn't offered at any convenient locations or times so I'm having to skip class to do it. I'm also skipping my workout classes and other fun things too. :( so sad.
Annnnnnnd 15 minutes is up. Which is good because my brain is finished splurging.
