I always think "funny how that pollen business worked out so well, eh? What would happen if they actually didn't like each other?"

I'm too much of a fluffslut to actually request something like that, but I'm fascinated by the idea of pollen forcing them to do the opposite of what they want, rather than act as a mechanism to make 'em recognise the mutual desire to bang like bunnies.

So: Kirk/Spock, UST all over, come into contact with a pollen that makes them absolutely repellent to each other. Like, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, sore muscles, urgh all over. Everything has to be changed so they don't come into contact with each other - opposite shifts, etc, etc. The separation (unexpectedly, at the time) drives them nuts.

Bonus points for Kirk talking to himself in corridors.

Bonus BONUS if Spock tries to play chess against the computer, and ends up trying to reprogram it in frustration when it isn't as illogical as the captain.

Uh, so it kinda of still does "act as a mechanism to make 'em recognise the mutual desire to bang like bunnies", only more because they didn't realise how much they'd feel the others absence (rather than being triggered by dubcon).

Oh my god thank you so much! I never expected such a long and beautifully written piece, it's more than I ever hoped for. And how did you know I had a secret love of snuggling? I loved the way you incorporated the bonus points, but even better were the surprises - like the kidnapping! Desperate rescue = another kink checked. :D
