Lots of fun following him. He's nice but not very friendly, though. Again, the language problem is what's wrong. What I really admire of ksw is his hard work. I used to work for 3 months in a collage as local artist liason so I know how difficult to maintain discipline, work on time, especially when the schedule is very tight and the artist don't have enough time to sleep/rest.
Arrived at the airport around 8.30 pm, the next day, 9 o'clock in the morning, ksw already in front of 50 journos & photographer (plus disguised fans just like me) for the press con. Then, 10.30 until 4 o'clock in the afternoon, he do the retail visit which one place to the other is quite far. At 5, he showed up at the meet n greet party and at 7, he must do his last round of retail visit which finished around 9 pm. the next morning, at 6 in the morning, ksw already fly to Singapore for the same routine. I only follow his schedule for arrival, press con, one retail visit and the meet greet. For me, that's a lot to do in one day. So, salute for him and his hard work.
At press con, I manage to asked him 2 typical questions - what's his next project? A movie or tv? His answer is still reading several scenario and hasn't decided to take which one. But he admits that there's a drama scenario that he really interested with. Other question - is that difficult to have relationship when you're an actor as you mentioned in front of the japanese press that he doesn't have any plan for married in the near future? His answer is (kinda cliche, I think) he's enjoying making movies so far. That's why he doesn't see a marrige in the near future.
At the opening of the press con, he said that he never thought lots of fans would greet him at the airport and that the respond to him is very warm. He's very happy about this. He's very glad that korean waves is now spreading not only in Japan but also in other asian countries.
As predicted, lots of scream and histeria. I'm a fan of him but I just can't stand some fans that excited. I know I shouldn't be like this. But I just can't help feeling like that.
Anyway, all in all, it's been fun. I had a blast. I wish lots of window for this kind in my country keep coming. Well, one step at time, ssusita! :)
Here's some of the jpgs! - not that good as I didn't bring my slr, just pocketdigi & handycam.
Arriving at the airport (with Korean Airline - 8.30pm). Stay @ Hotel Mulia - 17 travelling team (1 make up artist, 1 personal asssistant, 1 MD of faceshop korea, 4 tv journalists, 1 stylist, what the 9 travelling team do? That's a huge travelling team!?!? More than a band travelling team which ussually include roadies? Hmmm...)
Huge promo billboard of the meet n greet at the mal one day before the event.
At the press con - in the middle of the press con, he's a bit complaining for a hot weather.
My favorite ksw's expression at the press con.
At retail visit - 8 bodyguard accompany him.
At the meet n greet. Not much of interact with the audience, though. Still, around 900 people willing to buy those expensive ticket...only for 30 minutes ksw appearance without doing anything. Amazing. :)
As usual, any meet n greet there's always a big cake for a belated birthday celebration. Ksw birthday Aug 05, 06. It's his 30 years old b'day. After blowing up the candle, he licked a bit of the cake. So, cute! After that, he donate Rp. 500.000.000,- (USD 53.192) for lots of natural dissaster victims in Indonesia (the flood, the earthquake & the tsunami).
