James Morrison in SG
I was a little dissapointed with this trip. Well, just a bit dissapointed with the media liason from the record company that accompanied me. He just ignored little things and the climax is that we were late around 35 minutes from 1 hour showcase of James Morrison. I knew about this was later after I got the setlist from the PR people from MTV. There's 10 songs that James performed and I got in the studio (Waterfront Studio in Resort World Sentosa) on the 7th songs, which is Slave to Music. So, I miss the hits such as Up, and Broken Strings.
The way I see it from the whole trip, this boy just wanna have fun. Gosh! I can't stand it.
- Arrived in Changi, told him to call the Universal ppl first. It's free inside the airport to call local number. He said no. He will call later.
- Outside the airport, he was so slow and too busy of buying SG number for his iphone. A sign of showoff. And yes we're so late at the venue. I'll bet he didn't call anybody.
- Days before the trip, I've asked him several time about the itenerary. He didn't give me any. C'mmon, that's basic. It's like the list of our thing to do. Like a rundown or scenario. And right as I predicted, everything's ruined!
- I asked him the detail of the showcase. Should I bring my camera? Can we take photos and so and so. He just didn't pay any attention to any detail. Or plain take it for granted. It turned out there's official photographer on the showcase. Gosh! If I knew from the start, I won't bring my super heavy dslr with the lens. Just bring the pocket. I just hate it if everything's unprepared.
- And the cost of the local trip has to be bear by me alone. Haish! I was so annoyed. I have to ask and check to him all the time, thanks to there's no itenerary. And if I knew the schedule first, I perhaps can just go home after the interview, took the last flight. This boy just wanna have a dayoff. My flight was the next day. One free day in Singapore. Oh boy! And I found out that he extend for a day. So, excuse me, if I have bad feeling about him. He only thinks about showing off but no good for work. ;(
With this mishaps, I just loose appetite in writing. So, I've submit my articles to 3 media as promised. But I don't know if these 3 media are interested to publish it. I'm kinda lazzy to reconfirm again. So, far the concert report already published in OMG. But I don't know about the other two. So, we'll just see later. ;(
Bellow moment is definitely will be the one and only memorable moment for the sg trip this time around. (Ya, iya lah... Orang ke Singapur dalam rangka mo ketemu ama James Morrison! Beh)
