Someone new
We have a new addition to our family... a little tuxedo colored kitten that hsifeng helped us to adopt from its former family. They had two dogs, and while the kitty played with one, the other wanted it for a "scooby snack". So, we brought her home, after a stop at PetSmart to get a few things like more food and litter, and a new little bed that Cam wanted to get her. She's been checked by a vet already, and we will get her fixed in a few months. She's only 13 weeks at this point, which puts her birth around the 18th of April... which happened to be my Mom's anniversary to Gerry, so a good date to chose.
She's in our bathroom getting used to the place. All her toys, her own litter box, some food and water are there for her. The kids badly want to get in and play with her. I also want to get in and play with her, too... but the kids are rambunctious, and she's quiet and a little scared when we left her with the door to her carrier open.
I think I will check on her in a few minutes, if I can do so without the kids getting all rowdy about it.
