Today was a great day!
While I fell asleep on the couch early last night, I got to sleep in late this morning. Then when I was up and about, Rob made me breakfast. We then took the kids to Grandma's place so they could play with their cousins, while Rob got his Mom's new computer monitor hooked up. Then he and I went to Clovis' newest movie theater to meet up with docryder and watch the latest Star Trek movie, a must for me as a long time Trekker. What an incredible movie! I could say lots about it, but won't for those who still haven't been able to watch it yet. I AM getting this one on DVD when it comes out. Then we popped into the nearby candy store (oh my!) and I picked up a small bag of salt water taffy (yum!).
Then it was off to drop Craig at home, then back to get the kids, and an early dinner at Tahoe Joe's, where I had a yummy salmon dinner. Finally a trip home and now a chance to relax a little with the kids before their bath time.
Yep, it was a great Mother's Day, and I am glad to have it with my family. I hope all the Moms here had a wonderful day as well.
