Soap supplies
Well, I just bought most of the stuff needed for my first few batches of soap... except for the lye. The company I bought the rest from doesn't have any in stock, and I am not sure I want to buy the 2 pds I need online from elsewhere (and pay more in shipping), or look for some in the hardware stores (not sure which ones would have it). I could also buy 8 pds bulk, but since I am just starting, I am not sure I want to buy that much lye, and try to keep it out of reach of the kids.
Hopefully, it will arrive this week, and I can begin with hot process soap this weekend. I am both excited, and a bit nervous. But hopefully soon, I will have lavender soap to bath with again (along with rose, sandlewood, coffee, and maybe even a lemon zest one, too).
