Today's house progress...
Yesterday I pretty much did nothing worth mentioning about my home cleaning. I was too wound up about the election to do much of anything but watch the returns; tho' I did get some laundry folded, and others started.
The day before I did most of what was on my list, but not all... at least it was a good start.
Today, we got our new dishwasher installed (woohoo!!), and it will get a few dishes into its belly tonight. I also cleaned up completely the cabinet under the sink, so it doesn't smell of rotten veggies anymore. Lots of dishes were done earlier, too, by hand, before the guy came to install things as he needed access (too many piled dishes).
rwfranz also came over, and we've started in on the play room. Toys have been picked up & boxed away, then put into the center of the room with some of the furniture. And we started washing the walls that will be the first to be painted this weekend. I will need to pick up some supplies, including foam & thin board for the archways and painted mural (yes, docryder, I, or rather Cam, has a request of your skills).
I was hoping to go to ren-faire this weekend, but my dear husband really needs some time of his own, as he's put off a few things he's needed to do or work on so that I can go and do stuff all of last month. Soooo... I will be painting the kids room while he does whatever he needed to do. I may head out Sunday for a visit at the new site, but I don't know for sure. Then again, I may still be painting & cleaning.
Tomorrow... more house cleaning needs to be done. I am not sure what exactly, but I will make a list of 5 things, 15 minutes, and go from there. Now, it's bed time.
