On the topic of today's Wall Street mess, blogs have been talking about Phil Gramm, so I am looking him up. I started with wikipedia, and will branch out from there.

I would suggest reading the whole thing, especially the bottom half. He is directly linked to McCain's policy on economics, and while not officially an advisor, is seemingly still involved unofficially.
