Seeing a clip of Sen. Thompson speak at the RNC on msnbc. Interesting the sea of white skin I see in the crowd shots. I wonder how many people of any color will be seen in the various shots of the RNC

The CNN coverage showed a pretty diverse crowd. All colors, women/men and even students!

I saw a few students, and lots and lots of white people, male and female. Mostly an older crowd, as I think I only saw students in one or two shots. Quite a number of cowboy hats, too,fwiw.

All the Texas delegates wore cowboy hats. :) I'm sure they play up that image to make them think of W.

My guess - that guy behind Bush was put there just to show how diverse the "crowd" possibly was....... it's all a show at the RNC

Ron Paul is an interesting person. But a bit too conservative, tho in the old fashion sense, than I would like.

But yeah, does look like an interesting convention line-up.
