Obituary
To those who wondered what happened earlier this week that saddened me, here is the young man's obituary as posted by a close friend of the family.

I did not know the young man very well. I knew the child he was, along with his brother, when some of us used to game, mostly Vampire the Masquerade table top, at his parent's home near CSU Fresno, before they moved to Modesto. The boys were both rambunctious kids, and a light in their parents eyes, even if they didn't want to go to bed yet. Daniel was going to go to CSUFresno starting next Monday in fact, just like my son does.
His life was cut short, by his own hand, from what I've heard he shot himself. I don't know the circumstances of his life, or the pain he must have felt, but he left this world much too soon. As a mom, I ache for his mother, who is named Kim, kinda like me. We are very different women, but I ache for her, for his family, and especially his brother David who will miss his big brother very much, I believe.
I pray he has found peace in his new journey beyond our own. And I pray for the comfort of his family who loved him, who miss him. I know myself the questions they must have, as my brother questioned why his daughter, my niece, had to take her own life when she was loved by so many.
