WALL*E

Been out of the house all afternoon. Took the car with kids for a fill of the gas tank (thank goodness prices are coming a little down), and then lunch at McDs where they played for awhile. Then off to Edwards theatre to actually watch a current movie (been ages), and we enjoyed WALL*E.

Cam was a good kid and only asked a few questions. He even sat still through the whole thing. 'Elle on the other hand was bouncing around, sitting, standing, moving around, calling out WALL*E at the top of her lungs when he showed up... the usual little kids stuff. Thankfully, the theatre was mostly empty, with only a handfull of people, so she didn't bother too many people, and no one was really nearby. I found out later that she really need another diaper change, but she didn't tell me. I had changed her right after lunch, so I didn't realize that was the problem.

I enjoyed the movie a lot. It was amusing to see some Pixar movie references in the junk collection, and I really liked the dance sequence in space. I don't want to give the movie away to those who have yet to see it, but it moved me a lot, and that makes a good movie. We will be getting the DVD when it comes out.

And next time I take the kids for a movie, it may just be Cam. He understands what is going on, and 'Elle I think is still really too young to get what's going on. But she did enjoy seeing WALL*E himself.
