Uniquely You final decision...

On the Uniquely You dress form, I think I've decided... and it comes from looking at these two images:
Side View of Medium | Side View of Small.

Originally, I talked myself into a Small to pad up, but I have again changed my mind. Looking at those two side views... I can visualize myself in the Medium, as it is closer to my own curves already. I simply cannot see myself in the Small, as the posture is too erect, and the shaping is far too slender. It would have worked when I was younger, but not for a Mature Me. Even if I do get below my goal weight, there are parts of me that are never ever going to be perky, and slim, simply because of my age and the extra weight/skin that will always remain (I don't plan on getting skin removed unless I absolutely must, so I will have to live with it, yeah, I know ewww).

And with the discourse I had with sbuchler (which helped a lot, thank you), she mentioned that the Medium did well for the 150-180 range (which is where I am at). And looking at measurements chart with Simplicity patterns (my usual Big 3 pattern set), there is a one size difference between the two dummies, Medium is from 20-14 at bust (14-18 at hips), with the Small from 18 to 12 (10-14 at hips). I've never been lower than 36" at the hips (those are early teen year measurement), since they are a bit wide.

So, Medium it is. And if I ever do make it down to the Small level (should I get off my butt and really move more)... electric knife, here I come. Now... to order it!!! (yippee!!) (eta: DONE!!!)
