carpet cleaning trudgery.
I am steam cleaning my carpet... at least the dark spots at the entry, and down the hall way. Not much fun, but I am tired of looking at my dark carpet spots. I am hoping to get the rest of the living room done later this week sometime. There's really too much stuff to do all of it at once, and I have to do them when Maurelle is asleep, or else I would have lots of tracks through my newly cleaned carpets. It's hard enough to stop Cam from trudging through them with his dirty shoes on, but now he's on the couch watching cartoons for a bit, but he wants to watch me clean up close and personal.
I am waiting for some pre-soaking to do its job, although the carpet is pretty bad there, and may need multiple passes. And I need to dig up a fan to blow down the hallways to help the fibers dry quickly.
And I am bored waiting, but not much else to do while I am waiting. At least the dishes are cleaned, and so is the laundry, although I do need to put those on hangers... maybe I will go do that.
