Two fore sleeves DONE!! With ribbon ties even. I've glued the ends to make them easier to insert into eyelet holes.
Forgot to mention that I am using some silk/cotton fabric I bought from www.renaissancefabrics.net for the "pullings out". I still have enough left over for the planned partlet, which I doubt I will get done in time, so it isn't on my list of things to do.
I've taken photos, but they will have to wait for posting. I know, I keep saying that, but I have too much to upload the pics right now. Maybe, if I get the next project portion done tonight, I will upload some photos.
So, my list of things to do:
- Make forepart with matching foresleeves (with fake puffs) for my Tudor
- Make gift for outgoing Baroness
- Finish new French hood (optional)
- Finish loose kirtle (binding, eyelets, hem)
- Refit Tudor kirtle and gown
- Make the frock coat
Tonight will be drafting out the gift image, and hopefully making the mockup pattern at least. But now for some news, and soon dinner (made by my loving hubby).
