Tudor Jacket

May 03, 2007 00:19

The jacket with rolled pleat skirt is DONE!!! One down, a few more items to go. And man, are my fingers sore. I really need to find my leather thimbles, before I go out and buy yet another one.

The jacket really looks spiffy, and gold, with the trim and the cording all in gold. I've decided I will be using some of this trim for my next loose gown. I will have to buy some cord to work on, as I used almost all of what the client purchased, so I can't buy any leftovers, as there isn't much left over. But I find this gold metallic cord really nice to work with, and better looking than anything I've ever seen locally.

And I will take photos of it later. It's late, and time for bed.
