Henrician Ouches

Apr 11, 2007 17:35

The ouches/jewels have arrived from England, and they are beautiful, and heavy, sorta like gold would be, but they are gold plated pewter so common people can afford them, not just Lords. You can see all of them here in two photos (group and detail): http://www.flickr.com/photos/41633059@N00/tags/jewels/

They also have a tiny slit between backside and the sewing bars to work a needle between. Looks like I will be using beading needles to sew them down.

And yes, new icon, for my sewing projects. I may do more with it later.
