Roy Vega likes to battle, but in a good way.
Vega is owner of Titan Games and Miniatures, a store dedicated to role-playing and fantasy games such as Warhammer and Warmachine.
Vega's store, at 4556 N. First St. in Fresno, sells games and accessories, including tiny futuristic warriors. He also has several game tables, complete with scenery, for customers to use.
A gamer for six years, Vega said he wanted to open a store where people could enjoy their hobby of, well, fighting battles.
While other stores also cater to gamers, Vega specializes in fantasy games.
"People have responded pretty well," he said.
Vega opened the store last month and is drawing gaming fans from preteens to adults.
The store is on the southeast corner of First Street and Gettysburg Avenue.
Vega is optimistic that the popularity of the games will generate plenty of customers.
"There are gaming clubs, even mini-events for this," Vega said. "A lot has changed in the six years that I have been playing. It has really grown."
