I've been cleaning up some scans I got of a document I've looked for a long time. Elizabethan and Jacobian Smocks and Shirts by Janet Arnold. A kind person on a mailing list sent it to me, after I commented that I too had been looking a long time for it and had not found it. It was a reply to someone else who was hunting it down. Oddly, the copy does not have the pattern draft that Janet Arnold made of a shirt, which I happen to also have in my files from a site that no longer exists, but that is a bad copy. While I am glad to have the copies of the article, it wasn't the best of readable sort, with a lot of extra graymatter from being a photocopy, probably from those old copy machines universities have in abundance that can copy the best of text, into the worst of conditions.
