On faires and current life status...
Well, rumor was confirmed on one aspect of Ren faire for next year. My guild, the Isle of Mann, will not be doing Queen Elizabeth for their event. I was told it is a personal thing, regarding something that occurred last year (which I didn't go to). I don't know if IoM is still going and just not doing court (St. Henry's will be doing a Henry VIII thing I've been told), or what all the group will be doing at that event. I am sure the group will figure it out in the coming months.
So, that frees me up a bit on costuming requirements for that event, so I will be focusing on other things this winter on my to do list.
Meanwhile, I will be taking it easy this week. I keep wanting to do more, like cleaning up the bathrooms, and the kitchen, and the whole damn house, not to mention sewing things, but my body just wants to sleep... lots of sleep, which is making going to bed at night even harder to do than it should be. Why does the nesting instinct have to kick in strongest when the body is the most tired from the baby creation going on?
Six more days before she arrives, I keep reminding myself... then I really won't be able to sleep well for a few months. I have to remind myself that this is supposed to be worth the whole body aches and pains and efforts... really, it is.
