Day 2
Wow, cant believe its only the second day Ive been here. Ive been so incredibly busy, each day feels like two.
Got lost yesterday, that was fun. Well not REALLY lost, but lost enough to start to freak out. When that happened though I heard Lauren calling my name...*sigh of relief. She helped me get to my tram stop, thanks Lauren :0D
I did forget to mention something yesterday when I updated...Miss Heidi Jo is so amazing. She sent me a package which I got right before I left for the airport. She put a TON of fun stuff to do on the plan and in Vienna. There was the new Cosmo ;0), a coloring book, candy, gum! (which I had forgotten to grab), and some other fun things. SO...thank you Miss Heidi.
Yesterday was fun, though long. Went to lunch at a pub with Lauren and some of her friends. Went to a basic German Conversation class, intersting if I do say so myself, and had a tour afterwards. Once the tour was done (thats when I got lost) I went back home and took a nap...no sleep was killing me! For dinner Doc had planned a nice meal for all the newcomers. It wasnt the greatest but not all that bad. One thing I did realize though is that I am going to have to get used to eating meats other than chicken. Yipee. *Note the sarcasm.
After dinner went over to a friends apartment and played Euchre. Once the game was over I realized I didnt know how to get home or the name of my cross street. Lovely Jamie figured it out for me though and it was actually quite easy to get home.
After I got home, Lauren and I figured out the plan for today and then met some of friends to go out. We wandered around forever and then finally found the bar. While at the bar we realized we might miss the last tram if we didnt leave immediatly. Well, we missed it. So we had a nice hike home.
Okay, got to go, cant be late for the first day of class!
