um holy fuck.
we had like a hundred people on the metro today, for that field trip, two thirds of them were five or six years old. we went from Union Station to Metro Center to National Airport. then we walked around inside the airport, and then went on a picnic. one of the teachers made the announcement that I was the only one who'd gone on this field trip as a kid AND as an adult. that was cool. no one threw up, all day. and no one got lost or separated. I'm amazed at that last part, since there were so many of them on the metro. completely amazed. I was sort of scared to be on a school bus though. I saw
this before I left the house this morning. I just thought the bus was going to like run into a wall or something. those things are gigantic. I don't think I should get an RV when I turn forty and live in it until I die, anymore. I'd be too scared to drive it.
it's so great, outside. I love this. I mean now it's kind of cloudy and all that but earlier it was just beautiful.
I love going back to the school and seeing the teachers/staff. they're really awesome. AND they all love me.
I'm just really happy with today, so far, and I can't think of anything to make the rest of it bad, unless it rained or something. it looks like it will.
um annnnnd I just found out that today is Tuesday, not Monday. however, I did know it was the nineteenth. it seems odd that I'd know one and not the other, but I guess I'm just stupid.
it's "diet week" on aol.
and apparently the Oklahoma City stuff was ten years ago. THAT is strange.
