So what a week!
Geez, so someone made a nasty joke against Hollywood on facebook. Alt Faily offered to send Hollywood to Hollywood "provided she stay there". Not fucking funny. It really upset me, but I played a set at Fairgrounds' open mic in response to the hacks. Thanks to the guy who said to me, "You got style young man. Don't let the world tell you what to do." Cool guy in my book.
So I'm watching Skye and Hollywood play songs now. It's pretty awesome.
Some people said things on Alt Faily about people's white guilt guiding our use of Hollywood as a mascot. "What I take issue with is..." Fuck that noise. Obviously not a soul brother of Hollywood. Obviously a fucking moron. Also a white male. So that dude can suck it the fuck up.
I dunno, I wanted to reply to them, but I'm not able to write on Alt Faily's facebook.
Also, I went to Say Yes To College all week. It's a college orientation for students with disabilities. I had a really good time, except that I got a quick little crush on my co-mentor. But then she started gettin' in good with my other co-mentor. So that kind of blew. I thought I was some hot shit and was gettin' her good side, but I guess I was wrong. It was pretty dramatic I guess kind of in my head. But not quite in reality. It really wore me out. Say Yes was fun though and my kids were great.
