Waiting for Buses
Was in the Orchard Road area the other day, and noticed the bus-stop was equipped with a waiting time indicator, which indicated the waiting time for the next bus by service number. Was quite impressed, until I noticed how inaccurate the system was. While I was waiting for my bus to arrive, a bus turned up 10 minutes before the indicated time, and other buses never came, even though they were indicated as arriving. Teething problems? I wonder why they even put it up, if the system does not work. Perhaps this is the enhanced service that they are justifying the increased prices... :S
