Service Mentality?
Was shopping for watches during the weekend. First stop was the Cortina Watch at Raffles City, where the sales person was so pushy, wanting to sell the automatic chronograph, instead of the quartz chronograph. What happened to listening to the buyer's wants? Then, when the colour wanted was not available, he wants to check with the buyer to confirm the buy, before bringing it to the shop!
Next stop, Hour Glass Millennia Walk. The sales person called other outlets for the watch, except that he got the model number wrong! Made me wait an hour, for the wrong watch!
Last stop, Sincere Watches at Suntec City. The sales person call other outlets, and could only get the watches in the evening. Asked me if I could wait, chose instead to go the next day. Negotiated a better price. Sales person called to confirm availability of the watches.
Guess who got the business?
