Plans Within Plans: A Question Of Paradigm

Feb 26, 2013 21:53

There has recently been a great deal of dissatisfaction that has been leveled at the Singaporean government. Most of it centres around the elitist stance of policy decisions, and questions if the government really cares for her people.

Then there are those who say that the opposition has not come up with concrete, workable alternatives. This begs the question if we would behave any different if we were the ones in power.

Take away the ideas of self-preservation and that power corrupts, can we truly say that we have a better plan in mind?

If we do not, perhaps we need to question ourselves if we are venting our unhappiness at an easy target.

Do note that I am not lobbying for the blind support of the government and her policies, but am just calling for a little balance and objectivity.
