Another Day In The Gym

I finally managed to shoulder press 60 kg today. It has always been my aim, and I finally plucked up courage to do it. Now, my aim is to slowly increase the weight till I hit about 80 kg (that will be really impressive).

Did my usual arm workout after my shoulders, and then my legs. Started to deep squat again after I laid off the exercise when I got some pain in my knee. Still doing light weights. 50 kg only, but that is after my crazy leg press routine. Think I should also start doing lunges. I noticed that my legs are really growing.

On the cardio end, I managed to run for 30 minutes today, after my workout. While running, I realized that my foot falls were not even. Wonder if I should look into it. Anyway, I tried a mix of foot falls, to see which suited my running style better. Hopefully, I will be able to improve on my running.

Was quite inspired by a guy I watched running while I was on the bus on the way to the gym. I suppose Tiong Bahru Road is quite busy, which explains the rather low speed at which the bus was traveling at. What impressed me, was that he actually was running faster than the bus was traveling! Plus, it was not a short distance he was running. I noticed him along Delta Road (next to Tiong Bahru Park), and he ran down Tiong Bahru Road and then to Tanglin Road. Did not know what his full route was (obviously!), but was impressed. Wonder when I will be able to run like that again (the last was about 10 years ago, before I had my back problems)...
