Spent the night listening to music, and really enjoyed myself. The StyleAudio DAC availed itself very well, I must say. With the Firewire HDD, there is no longer any drop-out of the audio, so I was a happy camper.
Listened to Anita Baker, Sade, Russell Watson, the London Symphony Orchestra, Kodo, Kim Wilde, Robbie Williams, Rebecca Pidgeon, Kirsty MacColl and Carly Simon. Was great listening in the dark, where you can really focus on the music.
Now that I know what $390 can sound like, I am wondering what a DAC around the $2k mark will sound like...
