Sad day! (Yeah, I can tell you're all depressed...since I haven't updated in 2.5 weeks...)
Lots has gone on. But then again, I don't feel like I have much to tell. Weeiirdd...
Let's see:
>> School is going well. I love 3.5/5 of my classes. Art History is still amazing. I love Elizabeth, she is the best thing ever. And as horrible as sitting in a dark classroom taking notes for over an hour is on MW's at 8am...I love that class. I also love Design and Drawing because all we do is art. I'm becoming much more confident in myself, actually. Which is always nice. And it makes me a lot more motivated to do art and do it well, as opposed to always feeling inferior and not "being able to match up" or something. My Interior Design class is slow moving. We didn't have the right teacher for 2 days. So we basically just started from scratch last week. And we're working on this new project tonight. I don't know...I really hope I like this class. Because if I don't, it means a change of major is in store...aghh... And then I have Anatomy of the Theater which is absolute shit. I hate that class, and I've only had it once so far. Grr...
>> Things with friends are going well. Allison and I are just as close as ever. I seriously lucked out with the roomie situation, you have no idea. We're best friends and it's amazing. I have lots of great other friends, too, though.
>> Things are still going nicely with Richard. We're just "dating" because the whole relationship thing is not something he can do right now. But that is fine with me, because I'm having lots of fun just going out with him and getting to know him better. We have lots of fun always, and I see a bright future. Haha! I'm a dork.
>> Brian died 2 nights ago. Sad...but true... Buttttt....I'm over it. Haha! It was his time, I think.
I don't know. In general, everything in my life is superb right now (minus finances). I have a school I love, a job I enjoy, amazing friends, and I'm happy. Bottom line.
As hectic and crazy and busy as this semester is going to be, I just feel like it's going to be wonderful. I have so much to look forward to. But on top of that, I just have so much to be thankful for. I couldn't ask for a better set of circumstances right now. And I'm lucky.
Anyway, I best be off to doing more homework. One of my FAVORITEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, HALLEY is coming here in 4 days!!! And my birthday is in 3!!! This means that...Thursday-Sunday, I have zero time to do ANY homework. This means that I have to get all of it done in the next 2 days so that I don't have to pull an all-nighter this coming Sunday. But so far...things are looking pretty manageable.
And Thursday-Sunday are going to be some of the best days ever!
Thursday: Class out at noon, manicure/pedicure with Allison, cleaning room and getting ready for partay, and a date with Richard for my birthday!
Friday: Class out at noon, pick Halley up at the airport, hang out with her and show her around Maryville and stuff, Allison's sister is coming to do our hair for the party, and then it's PARTY TIME! (P.F. Chang's and clubbing afterward!)
Saturday: Hanging out with Halley and Allison lots...possible hookah at night?
Sunday: Hanging out with Halley and Allison some more, interviewing for University Scholarship Day, hanging out with Halley and Allison more, taking Halley to the airport.
Phew!
