this is easily the best thing i will read today; or perhaps all week:
There will be an open casting call for paid Extras on Saturday, March 24th for the "John Adams" HBO mini-series (starring Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney). It will be at Regency Square Mall from 11am-3pm on the ground level by the Kid's Footlocker. I'm an Extras Casting Assistant, and we are especially looking for:
***Young men between the ages of 15 and 50***
No waists over 40 inches. Must have flexible schedules and be willing to have hair altered for the period depicted.
Filming will be in the Mechanicsville, Goochland and Colonial Williamsburg areas and may
require multiple days of work. Filming from now until June 1, 2007.
Other Special Needs are:
-Young male amputees (age 13 to 35) to portray wounded battlefield soldiers.
-Native American males, tall physically fit types to portray Caughnawaga Indians.
-Men & Women who have special 18th century gaming, dancing, or musical instrument skills.
-Blacksmith, Re-enactment skills, Colonial skills
-Spanish descent (from Spain) attractive men and women
If there are any Male Amputees (lower and/or upper limbs):
