Aziraphale hesitated only slightly after receiving the letter. An offer to commit treason, during war time, coming from a rebel, could be dangerous indeed... but he liked to think he still knew Crowley well enough, and it was not long before he penned back,

He certainly wasn't pleased with Crowley for his latest choices, but it was good that the boy had approached him, and he had to say he was a bit relieved to hear from him. He was certainly willing to give Crowley the benefit of the doubt and hear him out.
