mostly a Khan update + some

So, I've got Khan scheduled for heartworm treatment. Starts Monday, then treatment lasts two months, going in every other week for a checkup or meds. It'll end up costing about $530, but it's split up decently, so I should have one paycheck covering bills and the other covering Khan. Tips will continue to be Scotland fund money, but also be a backup for his meds. And I found a good vet. And Khan's neutering wound has healed well. So, things will end up working out. But Khan can't have much fun for the next 3-4 months, as far as running around is concerned and being overly excited.

He was coughing a hell of a lot earlier today though (but has mostly stopped now), and it was kinda terrifying, partially because that's what my last dog did for months before he died, and partially because coughing is a sign of more advanced heartworms. But he seemed to stop after we replaced our dusty air filter today, and I also saw him pick up a tiny stick and swallow it on our walk today, so maybe those had something to do with it.

I keep running out of things to do on the internet. I need to watch more Monster. I want to write some more. Random stuff, etc.

Had an adventurous tour the other day. I was about halfway through the tour when I stop at an intersection for traffic. Then this girl runs up the road yelling about how Madison Square is closed because some guy drove into the Green-Meldrim House. So, long story short, I get to turn down a road I'm usually not allowed on, go to what's basically the beginning of the shortest tour route and then work my way all the way to the end of the longest route. On the slowest horse, but I got him to walk pretty quick (even trot a bit across intersections, shh) and only ended up being ten minutes late to the drop off point. It was kinda exciting.
Also saw a bicycler get hit by a bus near city market the other day (and by that, I mean I saw the immediate aftermath of a body on the ground, a bus pulling over, and a cop car speeding towards them. Also found out that recently a student drove their car into a SCAD dorm. Traffic's going crazy, clearly.
