So, I get an email from the parent company of japanesepod101.com, a site where you can learn Japanese. They have branched out into other languages, spanish, etc. Today they sent me a 'special offer' on englishclass101.com
Here's the part that got my attention:
If you've ever been interested in learning English this is your one chance to become a "Founding Father" Member of EnglishClass101.com for an unbelievable low monthly fee of only $5 (normally $25) for Premium Membership, an 80% discount!
Mind you, the entire email is written in ENGLISH!!!
I hit Reply and typed:
If I couldn't read english, I wouldn't be able to READ this offer you sent me. You -do- realize the irony of that, do you not?
Seems kind of counterproductive to ask someone -in- english if they're interested in learning english. *shakes his head*
