Finally
Today I FINALLY caught up on my sleep, I went in to work at 0400 and the cook didn't show up, so I had to find the food for breakfast for the crew myself and I got a lot of positive comments. It may not seem like much but it really makes me look great! so I'm very stoked about that! And also I was talkin to one of the qualified FT's on my boat and he was telling me that I'm really liked on the boat. This made me happy cause as a Nub I dont really get to know everyones real opinion, but he told me today that of all the new guys that reported on board at the same time as I did that I"m probably the most popular among the crew, so that's really cool!!
I got off of the boat at around 8, I was in bed by 9 and didn't wake up till 2!!! It was freakin awesome! I finally feel like myself again! I was thinking today and I can't remember the last day that I didn't step on board the boat, it's been several weeks at least. And I'm not the only one who has noticed, several guys have seen me and said things like, Damn Neil are you always here? stuff like that. But I"m learnin a lot and qualling a lot.
