State Street State of Mind

So I get up early (9:00) to go to this stupid webteam meeting. We sit around for a while, waiting for Branton to get his shit together. He says... "The schoolboards dealing with it all now. Make a student site, and have a good day" He fucking forgot to say "would you like fries with that?" or how about a hot apple pie.

5 minutes max, and we were out of there. Im pissed, cause its like, lets take the job from people who we pay nothing, with a relatively large amount of skill, to some beurocrat up at the school board office who can barely use microsoft word. then, theyre gonna pass of some cookie cutter shit, spell the school name wrong, then cut the whole project for "budget reasons"

Theyre calling it "eSchool" and it already reeks of failure. I imagine in a few months, they'll come to our company, asking for an extremely ridiculous timeframe, with a special "public service" budget request... its like.. hmm? Pay the kid $0 an hour, or pay the company the kid is working at $90 an hour.

AND THESE ARE THE PEOPLE LEFT EDUCATING US.
